Bad Robot, the giant production house that brought us a whole bunch of blockbuster films and TV shows such as Star Wars Ep 8 & 9, Super 8, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Star Trek, Westworld, and Person of Interest, are apparently in talks with Warner Media about developing ideas for a Justice League Dark(JLD) movie and/or TV series.
Based on Deadline’s report from a couple of days ago, the potential project is still very much in its infancy, so let’s not get too excited yet. No details have been revealed - not even if Bad Robot boss J.J. Abrams will be directing, but we do hope that he plays a part in it.
JLD is expected to feature the main six supernatural superheroes - John Constantine, Madame Xanadu, Zatanna, The Changing Man, Deadman, and Shade. In 2017, Warner Bros. Animation released the animated film version of JLD, and it was a pretty big hit among fans. We saw it, we loved it. So we have that, and we have also seen Constantine on the big screen 15 years ago with Keanu Reeves playing the part of John Constantine. Imagine actually having him back to lead the band of supernatural beings (fingers crossed).
Stay tuned for more updates!
