Avengers: Endgame Gets a Re-release - RS Figures

Avengers: Endgame Gets a Re-release

WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME!

Avengers: Endgame - arguably the most anticipated movie ever, had its worldwide release on the 24th of April this year and it took the world by STORM. The movie sort of concluded the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with the destruction of Thanos and his army, and the death of our beloved superhero Iron Man - immortalizing Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and Iron Man forever...*sniffs*. Fans were not disappointed as Endgame grossed a whopping $2.76 billion in sales, and now only a couple of weeks since it had stopped showing in cinemas, Marvel has announced a re-release of Avengers: Endgame that will feature brand new scenes. Who can get enough of Endgame anyway, right?

 When is the Re-release Date?

It is expected to release on the 28th of June (this month) but probably not with the same allocation of tickets as the initial release. It will be our only chance to catch Endgame again before its digital release which is expected to be on the 30th of July, and Blu-ray on the 13th of August. We're definitely going.

What Do We Expect to See in the Re-released?

Unfortunately the re-release is not going to be a special edition 5-hour long director's cut (although we really wish it was), but rather the same awesome movie with a few added scenes. To quote Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, "If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits there will be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises." A tribute he says - we're definitely expecting a tribute to the great Stan Lee. The studio also announced that there will be a teaser of Spiderman: Homecoming, the last movie before the MCU moves on to Phase IV.

What's the Real Reason Behind this Re-release?

Now, now, we don't want to jump to conclusions but rumor has it that a big part of why Avengers: Endgame is being re-released is because Marvel Studios is about $27 million in sales short of beating Avatar, the current record holder. Don't know about you guys but we obviously want to be a part of that so we are definitely catching the re-release.
