One of our favorite story arcs from the DC Multiverse is Crisis on Infinite Earths, which was a 12-series comic book launched and released in 1985, till 1986, and in less than a couple of days, we get to watch the live action version of it!
Fans have not been particularly happy with CW's progress on their standalone DC shows - Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman - but CW has done really well with crossovers. The two previous favorite multiverse crossovers were Crisis on Earth-X in 2017, and Elseworlds in 2018, and latest crossover, the highly anticipated Arrowverse event Crisis on Infinite Earths kicks off this weekend. Here's the latest extended trailer, released just hours ago:
Seriously, how awesome does that look? The closest depiction we've had of the story arc was the animated film released in 2010 called Crisis on Two Earths, and that was awesome too. What makes this event a whole lot better (and bigger) is that we will be seeing the return of our previous favorite Supermen - Tom Welling from Smallville and Brandon Routh from Superman Returns. What a time to be alive!
The crossover event starts this Sunday, and will go on for five episodes.
