We are shocked beyond words and our hearts are broken by the unfortunate news of the passing of one of our favorite Marvel superstars, Chadwick Boseman.
Boseman lost his battle with cancer after being diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in 2016, and persevered through it in the last four years until finally succumbing to it today. Boseman was a very daring actor not only known for his role as the King of Wakanda, but also for his groundbreaking Black roles as Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall.
His publicist Nicki Fioravante confirmed the news, informing family, friends, and fans around the world that Boseman had passed at home today, with his wife and family by his side.
Much loved by the world, Chadwick Boseman will be dearly missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
